Call for Contributions

Just like every conference the FPL lives from your contributions. The deadline for papers and workshops and tutorials already passed.

Proposals for the Demo Night and Project Presentations during FPL'14 shall directly be mailed to the Demo Night Chair, Koen Bertels, TU Delft ( k.l.m.bertels @ tudelft . nl ) indicating project title, affiliation, and short (5 lines) description of demo/presentation.

For reference, this years Call for Participation (CfP) is still availabe.

About

The FPL conference series has long served as the premier forum for researchers and practitioners working across the full spectrum of field programmable logic and reconfigurable computing. Attendees from academia and industry gather to exchange ideas on emerging architectures, advanced design tools, and novel applications spanning signal processing, embedded systems, and high-performance computing. The program reflects the rapid evolution of programmable platforms, from heterogeneous multicore systems to adaptive networks-on-chip, while also addressing pressing challenges in dependability, power efficiency, and fault tolerance. These technical exchanges help drive forward the state of the art in FPGA-based computing, bridging the gap between theoretical advances and practical deployment in real-world systems.

Beyond the formal technical sessions, the conference fosters an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages collaboration between researchers and industry partners. The diverse program includes workshops, tutorials, and interactive demonstrations that give participants hands-on exposure to cutting-edge tools and methodologies. Such interactive venues allow attendees to explore emerging benchmarks, survey recent developments, and engage with the latest design automation techniques for reconfigurable platforms. The conference's commitment to covering both mature and emerging technologies ensures that participants leave with a broad perspective on where the field is headed. This inclusive approach has made FPL a vital meeting point for the global reconfigurable computing community year after year.
